 The Race to Erase could not function without the help and support of volunteers. Here are some of the volunteer positions available: Teams (NOTE: These committee members are ABLE to compete in the Race) - Identify potential teams and/or team captains
- Encourage teams to sign up for Race to Erase through the website
- Encourage those who sign up to get other people to sign up

Sponsorship (NOTE: These committee members are ABLE to compete in the Race) Identify businesses to sponsor local Race to Erase Promote the Race to encourage businesses to sponsor the event or donate prizes to be distributed at the closing ceremonies Distribute sponsorship packages to interested parties
Volunteer Coordinator (NOTE: These committee members are UNABLE to compete in the Race) Locate volunteers to fill the positions for the local race Brief the volunteers on their specific roles when they begin Brief volunteers at volunteer night Brief key volunteers prior to the race
Challenge Coordinator (NOTE: These committee members are UNABLE to compete in the Race) Determine potential businesses and not-for-profits who would like to participate Work with the business or not-for-profit to create a fun and challenging event Attend volunteer night the week of the event to be briefed on how the event will flow Arrive at Race start/finish one hour prior to the beginning of the race to pickup required materials/radios and volunteers Oversee event – when problems arise, know who to contact Promote the race to encourage team and volunteer registration
Race Day Volunteers Arrive to location volunteering at 40 minutes prior to start of event Read the volunteer logistics sheet Take pictures as possible Have fun!
